Re-launch of the four-week self-first experience!

When we are in these states we are not able to fully help others or ourselves. And most of the time this leaves us feeling tired, guilty and frustrated.
💕 How about if instead of ‘reacting’ you instead ‘choose how you respond’? Sounds lovely doesn’t it? And do you know what? Giving yourself the time to press pause throughout your day will help you make different choices. Simple 2-3 minute moments, no hour long routines, no getting up super early, no staying up for endless hours at night. No need for doing activities that work against your natural rhythm. Let’s work ‘with ourselves’ not against.
This beautiful four-week mini self-first experience offers gentle guidance for you to create press pause moments within your day.  Moments that will give you the space to consider your responses and reset your energy. Moments to shift your focus to prioritising and taking care of your own needs

Welcome to the re-launch!!  

I have been sitting with this re-launch since the middle of last year! Why?  Because I didn't believe my offering was enough. Which is interesting given the fact that I knew how much time, energy and love I had poured into it. That I knew deep-down what a beautiful experience this was.  Thankfully, a little gentle encouragement (recently) from some special women bought me back to reconnecting to this self-first experience and gave me the confidence to once again open it up to the world.

Does this sound familiar to you;
You wake up to the sound of your alarm (tired and un-refreshed), begin your day rushing around with your Children having not paused to consider your own needs.
You race out the door in a hurry to school drop off and then arrive at work with a list of jobs, immediately feeling frustrated and overwhelmed having said Yes to taking on more tasks (yet again).
You keep an eye on the time knowing that you will have to rush out of the office some time soon, pick up the Children, get back home, get dinner started, put on a load of washing, clean up the kitchen, get everyone to bed, before falling into a tired heap knowing that it all starts again tomorrow!

You arrive at work energised and with a clear focus and clarity on what will be important to achieve in the day.

Your day ends with sitting at the table with your family, enjoying a favourite dinner, sharing stories and laughs about the days adventures.  You go to bed at night knowing that you made time for the people that you love, focussed on what needed to be done and treated yourself with kindness and compassion as you moved about your day.

I wanted to create this Mini Self-First Experience to introduce other Mum’s to the idea of a self-first approach to their wellbeing.  Yes it can take some time to get use to, because as Women and Mum’s we tend to be constantly on the look out for what and who needs our help. However we are going to take this one step at a time and this four-week journey  is going to support you in doing so.

You will be encouraged to introduce small steps/changes within your day to support you in;

  • Prioritise yourself and your own needs
  • Create space in your day for self-care
  • Create awareness around what is serving you and what is not
  • Find nurturing activities that support your health & wellbeing.
